Beide teams verloren hun eerste wedstrijd en hadden dus een resultaat nodig.
Zowel de Engelsen als de Koreanen hielden de snelheid in het spel in de eerste helft. Jeonbuk had controle over de wedstrijd en kwam tot een kans na een goede individuele actie. Aan de andere kant wisten de Red Devils bijna te profiteren van een glijpartij van de keeper. Er werd niet gescoord en de logische ruststand is danook 0-0.
De tweede helft een heel ander spelbeeld. Direct vanaf de aftrap scoort Manchester United de 1-0. Met nog 10 minuten te gaan scoort Jeonbuk de gelijkmaker en kwam er toch nog een doelpuntenfestijn op gang. Uiteindelijk was het een hattrick Ethan Whealy die Manchester United de zege schonk 3-2

Both teams needed a win after their opening day losses.
Both the English and the Koreans kept the pace in the game. Jeonbuk was more in control and created a major chance after a good indiviual action. At the other goal the Red Devils nearly took advantage of a slip up by the Korean goalie. No goals in the first half and 0-0 was the logical result.
How different was the second half. Directly from the start Manchester United took the lead. With 10 minutes left to play, we still got a goal bonanza. Jeonbuk equalized and took the lead, but Ethan Whealy's hattrick eventually secured the win for Manchester United 3-2.
