Rules
During the Otten Innovation Cup 2024, six innovative game rules will be tested with the U19 teams in collaboration with KNVB and Red Bull, fitting the character of the tournament.
The modified game rules that will be applied are:
- kick-in/dribble-in
- self-pass
- effective playing time (2x20 minutes)
- flying substitutions
- time penalty after a yellow card
- time limit (max. 8 sec.) for the goalkeeper to hold the ball
