| Verslag: | In de eerste helft heeft Borussia Mönchengladbach duidelijk het betere van het spel en komen dan ook terecht op een 0-1 voorsprong. Moritz Göttel is de maker van de treffer. Barcelona speelt slapjes en komt niet verder dan een paar halve kansjes. Aangezien Borussia Mönchengladbach ook niet meer weet te scoren is de ruststand 0-1. In de tweede helft komt Barcelona al vroeg op gelijke hoogte, dankzij een treffer van David Babunski en neemt daarna het heft steeds meer in handen. Het overwicht komt in de score tot uitdrukking als Ernesto Cornejo Sanchez Barcelona voor het eerst op voorsprong zet 2-1. Toch lijkt de voorsprong van Barcelona in gevaar te komen als Jordi Quintilla Guasch na een harde tackle een terechte rode kaart krijgt. Het numerieke overwicht weet Borussia Mönchengladbach in het restant van de wedstrijd niet meer uit te buiten. Het is zelfs Barcelona dat nog een keer weet te scoren via Sandro Ramirez Castillo 3-1. Dit is tevens ook de eindstand. In the first half Borussia Mönchengladbach is clearly the better team. The German side take a well deserved lead via Moritz Göttel 0-1. Barcelona looks uninspired as they do not produce more than a few little chances. The halftime score therefore is 0-1. Barcelona scores an equalizer early in the second half through a goal of David Babunski. After this equalizer Barcelona grows into the match. Ernesto Cornejo Sanchez gives Barcelona the lead for the first time 2-1. Jordi Quintilla Guasch jeopardizes the spanish lead as his mean tackle results in a fully deserved red card. The advantage of having a player more on the pitch unfortunately can not be exploited by Borussia Mönchengladbach. Sandro Ramirez Castillo manages to expand Barcelona's lead 3-1, which is the final score. |
