| Verslag: | Al in de tweede minuut breekt Filip Orsula door en wordt neergelegd in de 16. De scheidsrechter denkt echter niet aan een strafschop. Uit de opvolgende counter krijgen de duitsers een grote kans. Orhan Aktas schot wordt net gestopt door Wouter Donkers. In het begin van de partij wordt veel balverlies geleden en dit leidt ook de 0-1 in. Twente verliest de bal, op het middenveld, waarna Borussia snel schakelt en Bence Szenes alleen voor de keeper zet. Hij faalt niet. Het duurt even voordat twente hiervan bekomen is, maar naarmate de eerste helft vordert wordt het spel beter. Twente maakt na 20 minuten 1-1 via Cas Peters. Op slag van rust kopt de kleinste jongen van het veld Marlon Ritter de bal uit een corner in het twentse doel. 1-2 voor Monchengladbach en dit is ook de ruststand. Het duurt even in de tweede helft voordat de eerste kans te noteren valt. 20 minuten ver schiet Filip Orsula de bal rakelings voorlangs. Drie minuten later is het Mirco Born die na een schitterende pass op links de bal ook net voorlangs het doel schiet. Een klein opstootje resulteert in de Rode Kaart voor de speler Borussia Mochengladbach. Meik Karwot dient het veld te verlaten. Ondanks de man minder situatie scoort Borussia nog een keer. Hiervoor hebben ze wel wat twentse hulp nodig. Daniel Tole-Emanuel schiet de bal ongelukkig achter zijn eigen doelman. De 1-3 eindstand liet Twente teleurgesteld achter, daar het veldspel van de tukkers toch wel aardig was. The following counter brings a great chance for the German team. Orhan Aktas' shot, however, is stopped by Wouter Donkers. In the beginning of the match, loss of possession of the ball was common, leading to a score of 0-1. At mid-field, Twente looses possession of the ball, after which Borussia quickly takes action and puts Bence Szenes in front of the goalkeeper alone. He does not fail. It takes Twente some time to recover from this, but as the first half progresses, their game improves. Twenty minutes later Cas Peter of Twente scores, 1-1. On the break of half-time, the shortest player on the pitch, Marlon Ritter, heads the ball into the goal of FC Twente, following a cornerkick. The score at half-time is 1-2 for Monchengladbach. It takes a while before the first chance at the goal in the second half. Twenty minutes into the second half, Filip Orsula's shot only just misses the goal. Three minutes later, Mirco Born also only just misses the goal after a beautiful pass from the left side of the pitch. A small row results into a red card for one of the German players. Meik Karwot has to leave the pitch. Despite one player less, Borrussia scores again, but with some help of FC Twente. Daniel Tole-Emanuel shoots the ball behind his own goalkeeper in an unfortunate action. The final score of 3-1 leaves Twente disappointed, as their style of play was not bad at all. |
