| De football-academy, which combined the academies of FC Twente and Heracles, started on 26th July 2006. After FC Twente/Heracles almost didn't make it through the groupstage, they did better on Sunday. After a breath-taking final against Cruzeiro, FC Twente/Heracles beat the Brazilians and won the 62nd Otten Cup. FC Twente/Heracles <19 finished 6th, with exactly the same amount of points as PSV <19, but with a better goal difference. The cup-holder will have to do their best this year to retain the Otten Cup. |
