After yesterday’s first group-stage matches, today the remaining matches were played. All teams were to play two matches. This hot and sunny day, drew a lot of spectators to the Herdgang.

The wonderful weather and the perfect pitches created a perfect start for the 63rd editioin of the PSV youth tournament of the Otten Cup. On a crowded Herdgang the eight participants played their first match of the groupstage. After a day with many goals and red cards, everything is still possible.

Together with assistant Chris van der Weerden, Ernest Faber is responsible for PSV A1. Faber, who started his career at PSV C1 before making his debut as a pro, knows very well what goes around in his players heads.

The 63rd edition of the Otten Cup has a wonderful list of international participants. Clubs as Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Anderlecht and the Brazilian Pão de Açúcar will participate at the Herdgang. From the Netherlands PSV, FC Twente/Heracles, Sparta Rotterdam and sc Heerenveen will compete for the Otten Cup.
